Rudy Project at the edge of the earth in the Man Team’s adventure at the Trans-oriental Rally

Rudy Project at the edge of the earth in the Man Team’s adventure at the Trans-oriental RallyYet again, the extraordinary “Captain Courageous” adventure companions have been out to discover the most remote corners of the earth: from Saint Petersburg to the Olympic Games of Beijing, 2008, Rudy Project accompanied the extremely daring Man Team, that regained the coveted prize at the Trans-oriental Rally.
A legendary undertaking, in which the Team faced immense spaces: vast desert plains and dunes with dizzying grades, along an itinerary that went a full 10,500 km, with mixed and challenging “crossings” of sun-drenched oceans of sand.
The Team passed the trial and achieved the thrilling victory thanks to its bravery and courage, with the strength of its passion combined with technical preparation, but also thanks to the extremely high-tech Rudy Project eyeglasses that were the constant companions of these champions up to “the ends” of the Earth.

The italian company provided one of the crown jewels of its current collection: the Sportmask Performance that also on this occasion showed that it is the perfect rally companion for dealing with extreme situations. With an aerodynamic design and a gritty appearance, emphasized by the lateral Rudy Project logo, in true racing style, the SportMask Performance model has a ultra-flat frame, made in Grilamid TR 55 LX®, perfect for wearing under a helmet with an adjustable nose piece in soft silicone that guarantees total comfort. The wrap-around lenses ensure a distortion-free peripheral view and are characterized by a front spacer that improves lens ventilation and prevents fogging up.

Along an extremely daring route with unforeseen challenges always around the corner, one of the main ingredients for success “was precisely the choice” the Man team notes “of getting high-tech equipment, indispensable for winning such a demanding rally”.
The guys in the group also confirmed: “We entered the best rally we have ever been in. Along the more than 10,500 km from Saint Petersburg in Russia, to Beijing, passing through Kazakhstan, we were really able to have a great adventure, which required a great deal of commitment, but which was also a lot of fun. Getting first place was the icing on the cake.”
